Learning Coaches (Scale A, Year 4-5)

Due to roll growth, there are opportunities to join our growing collaborative team where learning never stops and growth mindset is the norm. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed to their learning. Commitment to the vision and principles of our school is essential. Learning Coaches collaboratively teach in teams of 3 or 4 educators.

Management Units may be available for experienced applicants with particular skill sets in particular ICT and e-learning.

English Language Learning Team Leader (2MU)

Commences Term 1 2019.

Are you interested in an opportunity to teach and learn in an innovative learning environment?  We are wanting a fully registered educator to lead our ELL programme. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed to their learning. The ELL Team Leader will provide the best educational outcomes for our ELL learners and their families. Experience in working with ELL learners preferred.

What is a Learning Coach?

  • A tutor, an expert, a mentor, a teacher

The main roles of a Learning Coach

  • Overall designer of the learning process, of guiding and directing the learners, of supporting the learning through learning talks with individuals, small and large groups. At the same time, ensure learners acquire knowledge bases and essential concepts.
  • The Learning Coach should be regarded as responsible for collaboratively ‘engineering’ a learning environment, both in its design and its operation.
  • In essence, Learning Coaches design, mentor, stimulate, provoke, engage, diagnose, educate and teach.
